Eagle Edition
Hi, my name is Catharine Li, and I am currently the editor of the Eagle Edition, Tuscaloosa Magnet Middle's inaugural online news publication. Serving as a credible, readily available source of information for the student community, it is incredibly important in an age of technology to create a platform that will encourage discussion, collaboration, communication, and creativity in a respectful, thoughtful matter. The staff is comprised of students in 6th, 7th, and 8th grade, each contributing their unique ideas for topics to cover, from Magnet news, opinionated writing, various Sports topics, and much more. With my Passion Project, I truly hope to promote the importance of self-expression and create positive change within the community through story-telling and student involvement.
